Sean Alcala is a contemporary glass artist living and working in Salida, California. As a Bay Area native and nature enthusiast, he has always been deeply connected to the environment, especially the beaches, rivers and lakes of the West Coast. His handmade glass creations are based around the color, movement and energy of water. Since 2003, Sean has refined his craft to develop a signature style of glass making that blends glass fusing, kiln casting, with extensive stone-working techniques.
